Boca Raton, FL – Walker Blue, LLC has been awarded a State of Utah Cooperative Contract to provide Tax Consulting for Clean Energy Tax Credits to state agencies and eligible public entities
The contract is effective March 1, 2026, through February 28, 2038, and establishes Walker Blue as an approved provider of federal clean energy tax credit advisory and implementation services under a statewide cooperative purchasing vehicle.
Under the scope of work, Walker Blue will provide consultation related to federal clean energy tax incentives, including Internal Revenue Code Sections 48, 48E, 45W, and 30C. Services also include advisory support for Elective Pay (Direct Pay) implementation authorized under the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022
The contract authorizes Walker Blue to deliver a full-service, end-to-end tax credit implementation model, including:
- Project eligibility assessments
- Credit maximization analysis
- Federal tax code compliance documentation
- Preparation of workpapers and supporting documentation
- Reporting and electronic tax filings
- IRS audit support and defense
In addition, Walker Blue will provide analysis of proposed federal legislation affecting clean energy tax credits, including impacts to credit eligibility, valuation, and transferability
As a State of Utah Cooperative Contract, participation is available to eligible state agencies, political subdivisions, educational institutions, and other authorized public entities. The contract structure allows these entities to access specialized tax consulting services through an established procurement vehicle without conducting a separate competitive solicitation.
